The Void

Contemporary Dance-Theatre Solo

A visceral journey into the space between what we are taught to be and who we truly are — touching identity, sexuality, and masculine codes.

Press coverage ↗

The Void delves into the conflict between imposed social norms and the human desire for freedom and authenticity. Through powerful imagery and raw physicality, the piece explores the collapse of learned behavior, the loss of self, and the chaotic search for identity.

Shifting between characters, sensations, and instincts, the performer reveals repressed emotions, touching on themes such as sexuality, frustration, and masculine codes.

The concept behind The Void is to reveal the ongoing inner struggle faced by every human being. It reflects the existential paradox between the social realm — with its codes of conduct, behavioral expectations, and taboos — and the pursuit of self-knowledge and understanding in complete freedom.
